Your Fingerprints Are Never Collected
This app does NOT collect, store, process, or transmit any fingerprint or biometric data. The scanner is a visual animation triggered by a standard touch event — identical to any screen tap. No actual fingerprint data is ever captured.

Welcome to Fingerprint Divination ("the App"), developed and published by Tamizha Apps ("we", "our", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our application available on the Google Play Store.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and being fully transparent about our data practices. Please read this policy carefully to understand what information is and isn't collected when you use the App.
In short: The App works almost entirely offline on your device. We do not collect personal data. The only third-party service that may collect data is Google AdMob for advertising.
2 No Fingerprint or Biometric Data Collection
We want to be completely clear about the core functionality of this App:
- The App does NOT capture, scan, analyze, or store any fingerprint images or patterns
- No biometric data of any kind is ever collected, processed, or transmitted
- When you place your finger on the screen, the App detects a standard touch event — the same type of event triggered by any tap or swipe on your phone
- The "scanning" animation is purely decorative and visual — it is a simulated effect for entertainment
- Predictions are generated from a pre-built content database using randomized selection, not from any data derived from your finger
The App's fingerprint scanner feature is designed entirely for entertainment purposes and does not interface with your device's actual biometric hardware or APIs.
3 Information We Collect
A. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
The following data is stored only on your device and is never sent to any server:
- App preferences — Sound, vibration, and notification settings (stored via Android SharedPreferences)
- Reading history — Your past fortune readings, stored in a local SQLite database on your device
- Saved favorites — Predictions you bookmark, stored in the same local database
- Notification preferences — Your chosen reminder time, stored locally
B. Information Collected by Third Parties
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the App. Google may collect certain information as described in their own privacy policies, which may include device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, and ad interaction data.
We do not have direct access to or control over the data collected by Google AdMob.
4 How We Use Information
- Local settings are used solely to remember your app preferences (sound, vibration, notifications) between sessions
- Reading history is used solely to display your past fortune readings within the App for your reference
- Saved favorites are used solely to let you revisit predictions you've bookmarked
- Advertisement data (collected by Google AdMob) is used to serve relevant ads, which supports the free availability of this App
We do not use any information for user profiling, analytics, tracking, or any purpose beyond what is listed above.
5 Data Storage & Security
All App-specific data (settings, reading history, favorites) is stored exclusively on your local device using Android's built-in storage mechanisms (SharedPreferences and SQLite).
🔒 We do not operate any servers, databases, or cloud infrastructure that receives or stores your personal data. Your data stays on your phone.
If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data is automatically deleted by the Android operating system. You can also clear your reading history at any time from within the App's settings.
6 Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following third-party service:
Advertising SDK for displaying banner, interstitial, and native ads

We do not share any user data with other third parties, sell user data, or use any analytics, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs beyond Google AdMob.
7 Advertising Identifier
The App declares the AD_ID permission, which allows Google AdMob to access the Android Advertising ID for the purpose of serving personalized advertisements.
The Advertising ID is a resettable, anonymous identifier provided by Android. You can control this through your device settings:

8 Children's Privacy
The App is rated "Everyone" on the Google Play Store and is suitable for all ages.
We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). The App does not require any registration, login, or submission of personal information to function.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has somehow provided personal information through the App, please contact us at the email address below and we will take appropriate steps to address the concern.
9 Your Rights & Choices
You have full control over your data and the App's behavior:
- Delete reading history — Clear all past readings from within the App at any time
- Remove favorites — Unfavorite any saved prediction at any time
- Disable notifications — Turn off daily reminders in the App settings or your device notification settings
- Disable sound & vibration — Control these in the App settings
- Opt out of personalized ads — Through your Android device settings (Settings → Google → Ads)
- Uninstall the App — This automatically deletes all locally stored data
10 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, legal requirements, or our practices. When we make changes:
- The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised
- Material changes will be noted in the App's update notes on the Google Play Store
- We encourage you to review this policy periodically
Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
