Welcome to Egg Timer Pro – Perfect Boil ("the App"), developed and operated by Tamizha Apps ("we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about the data practices associated with our App.

Information Collected by Third Parties Via Ads
Our App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. Google's advertising SDK may automatically collect certain non-personal data to serve and optimize ads. This may include:
- Device identifiers (Advertising ID)
- Device information (model, operating system version, screen size)
- App interaction data (ad impressions, clicks)
- Approximate location derived from IP address (not precise GPS)
- App usage and performance diagnostics
Third-Party Advertising — Google AdMob
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the App. AdMob is operated by Google LLC and is subject to Google's own privacy policies. AdMob may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to deliver personalized or non-personalized ads.

Advertising & Your Choices
You have control over how ads are personalized on your device:
- Opt out of personalized ads: Go to your device's Settings → Google → Ads and enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization" (or "Delete advertising ID" on Android 12+).
- Reset your advertising ID: You can reset your advertising identifier at any time through your device settings.
- Ad consent: When required by law (e.g., under GDPR), you will be presented with a consent dialog to choose whether you receive personalized or non-personalized advertisements.
ℹ️ Even when personalized ads are disabled, you will still see advertisements — they simply won't be tailored to your interests.
App Permissions
The App may request the following device permissions solely for core functionality:

✅ No permissions are used to collect, transmit, or store your personal data. All permissions serve the timer's core cooking functionality.
Data Storage & Security
All egg cooking preferences (egg type, size, temperature, doneness) are stored locally on your device only using SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.
We do not operate any servers, databases, or cloud infrastructure for this App. There is no user account system and no remote data storage.
- No data is uploaded to external servers by us
- No user accounts or profiles are created
- Local preferences are deleted when you uninstall the App
- Third-party SDK data collection is governed by Google's security practices
Children's Privacy
Egg Timer Pro is rated for Everyone (all ages) on the Google Play Store. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction).
The App does not require any personal information to function. Advertisements shown to users in age-restricted regions will comply with Google's child-directed ad treatment policies.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has been exposed to inappropriate advertising through our App, please contact us immediately.
Data Retention & Deletion
Since we do not collect or store any personal data on our servers, there is no user data for us to retain or delete.
- Local data: Automatically deleted when you uninstall the App. You can also clear app data through your device's Settings → Apps → Egg Timer Pro → Clear Data.
- Advertising data: Managed by Google. You can reset or delete your Advertising ID through your Android device settings.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your data under regulations such as GDPR (EU/EEA), CCPA (California), or other applicable laws:
- Right to Access: Request information about data collected about you
- Right to Deletion: Request deletion of any stored data
- Right to Opt-Out: Opt out of personalized advertising
- Right to Portability: Request your data in a portable format
Since we do not collect personal data, most of these rights are automatically satisfied. For any data collected by Google AdMob, please contact Google directly or adjust your device settings as described in Section 4.
